SCFHP Appoints Chief Compliance & Regulatory Affairs Officer and Confirms Chief of Operations

Campbell, CA – March 15, 2018 – Santa Clara Family Health Plan (SCFHP), a local, not-for-profit health plan serving Santa Clara County, announced the appointment of Robin L. Larmer as its Chief Compliance & Regulatory Affairs Officer, and also confirmed the appointment of Christine K. Turner as Chief Operating Officer.
With more than 20 years of experience as a health care regulatory and compliance professional, Ms. Larmer will lead SCFHP in meeting all applicable statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements, identifying and managing areas of risk, and maintaining SCFHP's relationships with regulators, policymakers, and government officials. Ms. Larmer reports to the CEO and the Governing Board, providing direction to the compliance program at all levels of the organization. Prior to joining SCFHP in 2017, Ms. Larmer was with the law firm Stoel Rives, LLP. Before joining Stoel Rives, she was Counsel/Interim Compliance Officer at Soundpath Health and previously was Vice President, Legal & Public Policy at First Choice Health Network in Seattle.

SCFHP also confirmed Christine K. Turner as its Chief Operating Officer (COO), previously Interim COO. She brings more than 28 years of experience in health plan operations, information systems, and contract administration to SCFHP. As COO, Ms. Turner provides leadership and direction to the operations of SCFHP's Medi-Cal, Cal MediConnect, and Healthy Kids lines of business.
Prior to joining SCFHP in 2015 as Interim COO, Ms. Turner was most recently Chief Operations Officer at Soundpath Health, a subsidiary of Catholic Health Initiatives, having previously held positions in network development and sales & marketing. Before joining Soundpath Health, she held operations and provider network management positions at The Polyclinic (Seattle) and PacifiCare of Washington.
