Diabetic Eye Exam - Check Yearly, See Clearly!

We know how hard it is to live with a chronic illness like diabetes. Managing your illness requires taking certain health tests each year. One very important test is the diabetic eye exam.

Why is this test important?

Having diabetes means your body can’t control the level of sugar in your blood. If your blood sugar is too high, it can cause problems with your vision, like blurriness or even blindness.

You could have an early stage of diabetic eye disease and not even know it.

Job Search Assistance for Adults and Youth in Santa Clara County

What to bring to your interview:

  • Identification
  • Proof of income (past 30 days)
  • Social Security number

To qualify for CalFresh at least one household member must be a legal resident or citizen, even if that person is a child.
